Tap Bible in the app’s bottom navigation on your phone, or use the sidebar on a computer. Choose a book and chapter to follow the sermon or a Bible study. Book and chapter controls stay within reach as you scroll, and adjustable text size makes reading more comfortable. The app remembers the last verse you selected.
Find a passage and save it for later
Search a reference such as John 3:16, a passage such as Psalm 23:1-4, or words from a verse. Tap a verse and choose Save verse. Your Saved verses list is private to your account and syncs across your signed-in devices.
A Verse of the Day on your home screen
Start with a Scripture passage selected from a curated daily rotation. Read the whole chapter for context, save the verse, or choose Pray about this to start a prayer with the verse attached. The daily selection follows the time zone in your account.
Add Scripture to a prayer request
Choose Add Scripture when creating or editing a prayer. Search a passage or browse topics such as comfort, gratitude, guidance, and peace. The app attaches the actual verse and Bible version you select. You can change or remove it before saving, and it shares the same audience as your prayer. Check Share with before posting.
Which Bible translations are included?
Choose BSB (Berean Standard Bible) for modern English or ASV (American Standard Version, 1901) for traditional wording. Both are public domain, with all 66 books hosted on our server. BSB is the default. The Bible version dropdown keeps you at the same passage and remembers your preference. Saved verses and prayer attachments retain their original version.
Text is provided by Berean Bible and eBible.org, with source wording preserved. No Bible subscription or paid add-on is required.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Use Pray With Friends in your web browser, or add it to your iPhone or Android Home Screen. The Bible currently needs Wi-Fi or mobile data; offline Bible downloads are not included.
