Your first personal prayer

1. Start on Home
Welcome to Pray With Friends. Home brings together the circles you belong to. This walkthrough uses fictional people and prayers. On a phone, the bottom bar opens Circles, adds a prayer, shows Following, and opens your account.

2. Add a prayer
Tap the plus button to add a prayer. First, choose Share with. Select My Personal Prayers when you want a request to stay in your own private space. Choose a shared circle only when you want its members to see it.

3. Write what matters
Add a short title and the details you feel comfortable keeping. Our example asks for patience and kindness. When writing about someone else in a shared circle, ask their permission and leave out unnecessary identifying details.

4. Check the audience
Before sharing, read the audience reminder. Hiding your name is different from keeping a prayer personal. A shared request is still visible to its circle. Make sure My Personal Prayers is selected for this private example.

5. Save and return
Tap Share request. Your prayer is saved. My prayers helps you find requests you wrote, including older ones. You can keep using personal prayers for free, even if you never create or pay for a shared circle.
